QuickCal - The natural language calendar for iOS App Reviews

Great app

Took me awhile to figure out but love it once I got the hang of it.

Easy to use - smart app

Very intuitive to add calendar items in one single short hand entry. Really like the automagic one click to join an audio conference. Would like to see a feature to forward calendar items to others.

Great Product

Makes the poorly thought out i calendar much easier to use.

Quickest for data entry

I am astonished that this seems to be the only app with this far superior, faster, easier, data entry. If Apple had any brains left they would add this natural language entry to iCal asap! But 4 stars only, because startup is slow, editing is prehistoric, still no ipad version, only portrait mode, no update for a long time, etc. Developer, are you listening? We love your app and use it all the time - but this also means that every day we use it we wish it was even better!... TIA for the next version!

Good overall.

* Creating events works very well. * It should be faster. * It could look better (the entry screen, the list of events and the monthly view).

Super helpful!

I love the intuitive calendar switching function. This app makes regular calendars looks archaic!

Nicely done

I like it a lot. It really helps me stay on track throughout the day with all of my tasks.

This is how its supposed to be done.

This is the quickest and best way to add events to your calendar. Love it

Much Faster Than Built In Calendar

Love using natural language to enter events, great app!

Quickcal is crashing on my iPhone 4s iOS 5

Quickcal crashing on my iPhone for S. When I tap On Month View, Quickcal Crashes. Please Fix As Soon As Possible. I Have Deducted 2 Stars Until This Problem Is Rectified. This is amazing, this is exactly what I was looking for. Quickcal allows me to enter my schedule and event information using natural language. Simply fantastic. This even works better than Fantastical For the Mac. Even plugs in time and notification alarms. I am truly loving this. Now, how about that iPad version?

Best Calendar App!!

Great app! Love to be able to enter event as I would describe them. No more clicking around to select time / location / date. Just type right in! Great job!

Clever

Intuitive and uncluttered.

Not good.

So excited to install an updated version but this one flat doesnt work. Crashes every time I enter text. And the spelling of "Calendriers" under active calendars? Someone needs to spellcheck a little better. Awesome concept, just poorly written code.

Spectacular app with great devs

Just used QuickCal mobile to input my entire block schedule for my current rotation in medical school. Very simple to use, very impressive at parsing the input intelligently. Most importantly, the devs are exceptionally open to feedback and feature requests and are generally just nice guys. Ive had them work with me 1-on-1 via email a few times now, Im always impressed at the level of personal interaction they seek out with their customers. I highly recommend their products, but because theyre intrinsically great products and because the support is also top notch.

Missing ONE piece

Nice way of easily entering events. It would be perfect if it had voice recognition.

Awesome app

This is an incredibly useful app. The only thing it needs is an iPad version.

Please fix

I have loved your app. Right now your new one running on ios5 does not work. Hangs and crashes.

iPad version Please!

I have been using this app on my phone and computer for two to three months now and I am thankful for this!! Its so easy to add an event now!! What Id really like is a version for iPad so I can use the larger buttons to type with and maybe some editing options as well! With that said Im always suggesting this app to my friends.

Excellent!

Makes it very easy to enter events, rather than how I previously often waited until I got to computer. Syncs flawlessly with iCal, Pocket Informant (check it out) & BusyCal. I havent pushed it hard but has never yet failed to translate my entries.

Like Fantastical for MacOS!

Just what I was looking for: an app that will let me quickly create a calendar event in my iOS calendar by using natural language. If you have tried Fantastical for MacOS, this app uses a very similar concept. Its a quick and easy to use front-end to the built-in iOS calendar. If you dont have an iPhone 4S with Siri, this is a good manual alternative for creating calendar events.
